Hello, we are Heather and Jon Almeda of One Love Photo. I'm Heather the one behind the blog, and Jon is my partner and dedicated editor. Our mission is to create photographs at your wedding that are as charming and unique as the day itself. We know true love. We have been married for seven years, together for seventeen and have been friends since sixth grade. We imagine that each wedding we photograph is our own wedding. Giving each client all our love and shooting straight from our hearts. We both bring something different to the table, yet we share a similar aesthetic vision which gives our images a cohesive look.
We capture weddings using a combination of cameras and techniques. In addition to using digital gear, we also shoot with a Hasselblad medium format film camera, vintage 35mm lenses and homemade custom lenses. Images shot with our film cameras and lenses have their own look and feel. Some produce beautiful vignettes, some are square, and some make things soft and dreamy.
We split our time between Tacoma and Oahu because we have family in both places. We enjoy paddle boarding and swimming in the ocean. Art walk is our favorite night of the month. Our home is a wonderful mess, full of guitars, vintage cameras, junk store treasures, paintings in progress, clay projects, tiny pots, and cardboard sculptures.
We offer a range of package options for our clients. Small customizable packages start at $3,000 for Oahu and Seattle. For weddings outside the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii inclusive travel packages are available. Please send a message for more details.
